The mission of the Pharmacy Technology program is to prepare students to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication. Students will gain experience in prescription entry, IV preparation, sterile technique, and inventory control duties. This 12-month program is designed to provide training in the competencies required of a Pharmacy Technician. A Pharmacy Technician assists and supports licensed pharmacist in providing healthcare and medication to patients.
