The Pharmacy Technician Assistant Short Certificate is a 29-credit-hour program preparing the individual to assist Pharmacists in institutional and retail pharmacies. Students learn inventory management and the technician's role in community and hospital pharmacy. Coursework includes drug calculations, drug classification, side effects of the top 200 drugs, prescription terminology, Introduction to Pharmacology, Pharmacy Math and Terminology, Drugs and Health, Billings and Computers.
