Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Cardiac)

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac AAS (64 credit hours) prepares students to use medical ultrasound techniques to gather sonographic data for diagnosing cardiac conditions. Five consecutive semesters cover patient histories, anatomy, physiology, sonographic data processing, equipment operation, and professional standards. Graduates are eligible for the RCS registry. The program is accredited through SACSCOC with CAAHEP accreditation pending.
