The Accounting Specialist Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to provide an accounting curriculum for those students whose primary interest is to sit for the Certified Public Accountant Exam (CPA) and are not planning to work towards a four-year degree in Accounting. Note: In order to be granted an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting, the student must maintain a 2.0 or better average for all accounting courses taken.
