Detailed information about this program

All applicants are required to provide employer contact information to verify five years of on-the-job experience as an estimator. This information is required within the online application. Once your application is approved, you are then considered a candidate within the CPE program. At this point, the fee becomes non-refundable and your CPE books and materials will be issued to you. While the CPE certification program is self-paced, candidates are required to meet the program requirements within six months. The minimum estimated time commitment is three months. All requirements are completed electronically through your free ASPE online profile. The successful completion of the program requires the following: Technical Paper Submission General Estimating Knowledge (GEK) Exam Discipline Specific Test (DST), including both Part I and Part III For detailed program information, please see the CPE Program Brochure and CPE Program Handbook below. These documents are excellent resources to understand the scope of the program and all requirements.
